The helmet’s adjustable side and top wickers allow the driver to raise or lower the wicker height from 100 thousands to 250 thousands to compensate for varying speeds and levels of helmet buffeting and lift. Additional features include a unique ventilation system that increases air circulation by accelerating airflow from the chin bar vents by drawing it through vents in the top of the helmet. The Excelerator also features a new shield lockdown mechanism to help prevent the shield from coming open as the shell flexes during an impact.
